My husband finished a pretty intense summer semester recently, so we're on our final two weeks of vacation before the fall semester starts. And this time, I'll be going back with him--to get my degree in music! It's been a long time coming, and while it does mean less time to focus on photography, I'm extremely excited about the opportunity to take my passion to the next level. Ultimately, my goal is to teach music (and art...? we'll see...) at the college level, so creativity will continue to be a priority. And I have no doubt that photography will remain one of my favorite outlets, despite having a busier schedule.
For now though, things are quiet and relaxed. This summer has been one of hikes and intense exercise and sewing and good entertainment and video games and light, casual meals. Right now, I'm surrounded by sleeping animals, and the fan is whirring gently above my head. It's a moment of peace that I appreciate more than I can describe.
